Many of us are becoming more conscious of what types of beauty products we’re choosing to put on our bodies. The term ‘clean beauty’ refers to beauty products that include ingredients which are ethically sourced and cruelty-free. And when compared to our favorite beauty brands, ‘clean beauty’ brands wear just as well, if not better, than ever before.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Ilia — Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 is currently one of my favorite foundation formulations on the market. As I’ve mentioned in the base, it offers a light dewy finish and is made with beautiful ingredients and it’s gluten-free — which is ideal for those with gluten sensitivities.
Tarte Cosmetics is another beauty brand that is made with ethically sourced and cruelty-free ingredients — it also makes vegan beauty products. The Amazonian Clay Matte Waterproof Bronzer offers one of their most popular products and I love it because it offers a natural and long lasting finish.
I love wearing blush and will often layer a cream blush over my powder blush for extra pigmentation and definition. Here I swept on Glo Skin Beauty — Powder Blush in Melody on the high points of my cheek bones and into the temple area and dabbed the apples of my cheeks with Merit — Flush Balm in Cheeky. Both lines offer a high standard of ingredients.
Glo Skin beauty has some really pretty shadow palettes, which makes applying your eyeshadow that much easier. I’m using the eyeshadow Quad in Rebel Angel because I love how the warm browns, deep eggplant and soft blush tones enhance the green in my eyes.
To complete my look, I chose the Glo Skin Beauty — Cream Glaze Crayon in Heirloom for a nourishing and effortless finish.
